DIY Madhubani Fridge Magnet Kit

This is Maansi here.  Today I am going to share with you how to make a beautiful project using a DIY kit. A1 Craft has a lot of DIY Kits for children as well as adults. And these are absolutely perfect for anyone (including those who are not into crafting) as the kit has all the necessary items required for making a particular project.

This month I received a DIY kit for making a madhubani fridge magnet. And I had loads of  fun making this.

The DIY kit contains the all the basic supplies expect the paint brush and some general stationery items.

DIY EXPLOSION BOX

Malaika here from 'ITS ALL ABOUT PAPER-DESIGN STUDIO'. With the summer vacations on,  A1 Crafts has plenty of DIY CRAFTS.
Today am gonna share this DIY explosion box. The kit consists of 4 pre scored cardstock, 6 pattern papers and embellishments.

You could stick the patterned papers as you wish, that's either in different shapes or by creating pockets.

One is a wedding explosion box and the other is an Easter egg explosion box.

So I have a detailed video that will take you through to complete this project.

DIY MINI SCRAP BOOKING KIT

Hi girls, Lekha here and back with another quick and easy DIY kit from A1 craft

In my last blogpost  I had shared a card making DIY kit from the store.

Today I would be sharing with you my take on the mini scrapbooking kit. 

The kit includes pattern papers, pre scored cardstock for mini album cover page and internal pages, a pack of coordinating embellishments which are in theme with the pattern paper. 

You have to look no further with this kit and can create a  4"x 6" mini scrapbook. The only supplies you require are a pair of scissors, glue, pencil and ruler. 

 I have made an accordion fold mini scrapbook using the kit. Once complete the final album will have 6 inner pages( also on the reverse side of the accordion book). 

This one is a quick album to make. 

• Fold along the pre scored lines (4" and 8").
• You will get the accordion folds (valley and peaks). 
• To put the album together simply place the longer strips side by side and apply glue or tacky tape to create a hinge mechanism.

• Once all the pages are joined, trim the pattern papers and layer all the card stock pages.
• You can increase or decrease the number of pages in the accordion album.
• I have trimmed one sheet (4"x 12") to make pockets and tags for the page inserts. 

• For the pockets, trim the cardstock to 4"x 3.5", score and fold at 0.5" from three sides.
• Trim the corners at the folds and stick it to the mini album pages ( (as shown in the pic above)
• Once all the pages and tag inserts are ready, embellish and decorate the cover page of the mini accordion album.

The DIY kit comes with all the embellishments needed to decorate the cover, or you also use supplies from your stash.

 I have given two side ribbon closure to this album. Before you cover with pattern paper the front and back cover ,center the ribbon and adhere it on to both front and back cover. This gives a strong and neat ribbon tie closure.

 For one of the pages, I have fussy cut the floral design from the pattern paper in the DIY kit and used it as a pocket for a tag insert.

DIY card kit

Hi lovely people,

Lekha here and I am back with a new post using my amazing DT kit this month.

This month's DT kit includes not one but two DIY kits : Card making kit and mini album kit, charms, die cuts and a lovely paper pack.

I  have three easy cards using the DIY card making kit. The kit in itself has everything and you no longer have to bother about fancy supplies to create cards. Sit back and relax and enjoy the post.

With the help of the DIY card making kit you can easily create three cards. It comes with three pre scored card bases,coordinating envelopes, pre-cut card stocks to create layers for the cards and embellishments like butterfly die-cuts, enamel dots, twine, buttons,rhinestones.

The only thing you need is good adhesive and in less than thirty minutes you can create three lovely cards.

For the first card I have cut  four 3 x 3 cm tiles and used two way foam tape to create dimension. Next used the butterfly die cuts on each of the green square panel. You can add a printed sentiment/quote to the card or handwritten quote can give a complete look to the card. I personally like cards with a small quote/sentiment. Here I have added printed quote to the card.

  For the second card, I have created two layers on the card base. Added a twine wreath with butterfly die cuts and the enamel dots and crystals. Added little design to the plain white butterfly die cuts.

  For the third card, I have layered the card base with pattern paper. Next added the die cut butterfly using the foam tape to add dimension. Embellished the butterfly using the button and twine.

Added a hand written sentiment to the card.
